Calcium carbonate (CaCO3) is the most widespread calcium compound in nature and is widely applied in primary production because of its nitrogen-free properties. It is simple to apply, highly effective and very economical, of excellent purity, free from heavy metals, radioactivity and moisture.
Uses
It applies to agriculture to:
Improve (neutralize) the pH of acidic soils.
Correct calcium deficiency in any type of soil. Of particular importance is the enrichment capacity of peat soils, which are usually very poor in calcium.
Painting of shading greenhouses during the summer months (mainly for glass greenhouses).
It applies to livestock farming to:
Improve the quality of milk and meat produced.
Improve the quality of poultry eggs.
Improve the functioning of the digestive system of animals.
Improve the functioning of the immune system of animals.
